Welcome to Brian Marki Fine Art, a European flavored gallery in the heart of Portland Oregon's Historic Irvington District. We are home to a wide range of contemporary art including painting, sculpture, glass, photography and prints. With a new exhibit every month and up to twenty artists on display at any one time, there is always something new to see. We invite you to stop by today!

We are proud to have the largest collection of paintings by artist Sandro Negri outside his studio in Mantova, Italy. Sandro lives, works and paints daily in the restored, medieval Palazzo Cavalcabó. We are honored to exhibit the work of such a prolific artist. The work of Sandro Negri is constantly on display in one of our four show rooms, and is rotated regularly.

May 5th – 31st, 2008
Opening Reception: Saturday May 10th, 5 to 8 p.m.

Join me on Saturday May 10th to meet Sandro Negri who is joining us from his home in Italy to launch his new work, Segreti. These traditional rural oil paintings are designed on old window shutters and have panels that open and close, representing a new direction for this prolific artist. Most panels have a small painting on the outside and, when open, reveal a triptych of an opulent pastoral scene or bright, beautiful landscape, for which Sandro is known. More images from "Segreti."
