Alice is a painter who has started working in glass and loses nothing in the translation. Glass gives her paintings a new look not possible in paint. Alice works the glass like paint and the layers of the medium are revealed in the finished product. These are small works ranging from 4" X 4" to 6" X 8" and are floating on white glass and framed in black frames. Alice resides on the East Coast and this is her debut in Portland. |
